Resumo: | This dissertation was developed from the reading of the book "Architecture Words 2: AntiObject" by Kengo Kuma. In it, the author elaborates, from seven design themes, a concept opposed to the type of architecture that he considers coercive and arbitrary. Each theme is theoretically conceptualized and exemplified with a project selected by the author. The purpose of the work is to analyze each of the seven themes on a case-by-case basis and identify project tools and mechanisms. The projects presented are placed in parallel with the architect Lina Bo Bardi and then characteristics of affinity or disparity between them are observed. Some choices of the works for the parallel were based on similarities with the project theme that Kuma presents, while others had as a starting point the program content or type of intervention and, thus, they may offer different approaches to similar problems. The work is structured in two parts. The first, more succinct, makes a brief presentation of the architects. The second, denser, discriminates each work within the context of one of the themes. |
