Turismo, uma esperança para Marvão: contributo do turismo local

O Concelho de Marvão tem uma área aproximada de 155 Km2, sendo um concelho muito disperso, envelhecido, de fraco nível de escolaridade e de qualificação profissional, com um mercado de trabalho quase inexistente. Com uma agricultura pouco rentável, uma actividade industrial em recessão e o encerramento dos serviços de fronteira e alfândega. É constituído por quatro freguesias: St António das Areias, St Maria de Marvão, S. Salvador da Aramenha e Beirã. O concelho de Marvão, com os concelhos de Castelo de Vide e Portalegre formam um interessante triângulo turístico, com inúmeras potencialidades, contudo com alguns estrangulamentos no que diz respeito à oferta turística e à sua qualidade. Devido à diversidade do património natural, histórico-cultural e social o turismo é uma actividade a desenvolver. É necessária a intervenção na melhoria da rede e infra-estruturas de apoio ao desenvolvimento, de modo a atenuar a desertificação, ao nível da satisfação das necessidades fundamentais da população e do apoio às actividades económicas. Na promoção do aproveitamento dos recursos turísticos, na aprovação de projectos de desenvolvimento económico, na criação de emprego para os recursos humanos existentes, permitindo a fixação da população, especialmente dos jovens. É necessário o desenvolvimento das vias rodo e ferroviárias, dos transportes públicos, permitindo aos habitantes locais e aos visitantes uma maior facilidade no acesso à região e na deslocação no interior do próprio território. Também o aproveitamento e promoção de acções de divulgação das produções locais de qualidade deveria ser uma prioridade. Deveria ser criada no concelho uma bolsa de terrenos para habitação, para que as pessoas não necessitem de sair do concelho. Aproveitar a candidatura de Marvão a Património Mundial, caso seja aprovada e em articulação promover o concelho de forma integrada. /*** Abstract - The Concelho of Marvão has one area approximated of 155 Km2, being a concelho very dispersed, old-looking,with a low scholarity level and professional qualification, with a work market almost inexistent. With a low profitable agriculture, one industrial recession activity and the closing of the services of border and customs. It's constituted by four freguesias: St° António das Areias, St' Maria de Marvão, S. Salvador da Aramenha e Beirã. The concelho of Marvão, with the concelhos of Castelo de Vide and Portalegre make an interesting touristic triangle, with lot of potentialities, however with some strangulations in wath concerns to the touristic offer and is quality. Due to the natural patrimony diversity, historic-cultural and social the tourism is an activity to develop. It's necessary the intervention in the improvement of the net and infra-structures of support to the development, to try to attenuate the desertificação, by the level of the satisfaction of main necessities of the population and support to the economical activities. In the promotion of profit of touristic recourses, in the approval of project of economic development, in the creation of work to the human resources existent, permitting the fixing of the population, specially of young people. Is necessary the development of the rodo and railway ways, of public transports, allowing to the local inhabitants and visitors a bigger facility in the access to the area and in the dislocation in the interior of the territory itself. Also the profit and promotion of divulgation of local quality productions should be a priority. It should be created in the concelho a bolsa of grounds to habitation, for the people do not need to leave the concelho. To benefit the candidature of Marvão to World Patrimony, if is the case of being approved and in articulation to promote the concelho in na integrated form.
