Resumo: This report was carried out within the scope of the Professional Internship, a curricular unit inserted in the second year, of the 2nd Cycle of Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto in the academic year 2019/2020. The internship report aims to reflect the realization of the learning process between students and teachers at a school in Greater Porto, supervised by the Cooperating Professor at the internship site and by the Advisor Professor at the Faculty of Sport at the University of Porto, throughout the entire process carrying out teaching and learning at school. This report also addresses the context of educational policy and the functioning of the physical education system in schools in Timor-Leste. Given that the intern is Timorese and intends to understand the two different educational realities during the Internship in Portugal. Throughout this study cycle, many contributed to develop my professionalism in the profession of Physical Education teacher. In this report there are several different components that are addressed: - introduction: To reflect on the characteristics as a beginner teacher in carrying out the internship practice from the beginning to the end of the elaboration of the professional report. - Personal Framework: I explain how to understand the process of how to learn at school, as well as the motivation to work professionally in the profession of teacher in physical education at school. - The Political organization of the education system in Timor-Leste, addresses the following components: Characteristics of the educational system in the period from Invasions to Independence; To understand the political system of education in Timor-Leste; The political system of the physical education teachers training in the period of the invasion and also until Independence; The functioning system, the objectives and the values contemplated in the curriculum of each cycle of levels in the teaching and learning process of Physical Education and Sport in Timor-Leste. - Institutional Framework of the School: The school as a formal institution. The trainees must understand the characteristics of the school in order to fulfill our role as beginer teachers in the practice of teaching and learning in order to understand our vocation as teachers. - The realization of professional practice: Several components and tasks performed by the trainee during the professional internship: Area - 1, how to organize the teaching and learning process at school. Area - 2, Participation of the trainee in the related activity, both in the context of the internship and in the academic activity at the faculty. Area - 3, Professional development. The challenges of teaching physical education and sport at school for beginer teachers, this perspective described the characteristics of the stages of initiation teacher, the challenges in carrying out the teaching and learning process and how to overcome the various obstacles encountered in the context of the internship by the physical education teacher.
