Resumo: The professional practice marks the end of one stage and the beginning of another and is one of the most important milestones in the training of a teacher. This report summarizes the main moments and the knowledge acquired throughout my supervised teaching practice that took place at the Pedrouços Basic and Secondary School, which is part of an area elected as an Educational Territory of Priority lntervention, located in the municipality of Maia. This document begins with my presentation, then I present my professional trajectory, starting with my understanding of the conceptions of this educational area and the expectations for the internship year. Next, I provide an institutional framework and in the next chapter I talk about teaching practice and teaching experiences, where I was responsible for an 8th level class and two shorter teaching experiences in the 2nd cycle and secondary education. This is followed by the chapter of participation in the school where I narrow the experiences in Citizenship Education and with School Sports. The following chapter refers to my professional development where I include the organization of a sporting activity and I reflect on some events that in a certain way marked me and contributed to this development. This work describes a time and a place where there was a lot of learning and sharing of knowledge with peers and students and a feeling of accomplishment with the lived experience. It was a year of challenges and discoveries faced with open arms and with the responsibility to teach and the desire to learn. The last chapter presents an action research study that aimed to improve my communicative effectiveness during the instruction process, however, it was found that it did not improve, which could be due to the lack of planning of concrete correction strategies.
