The present project is composed of a dissertation and a book, produced as a practice resulting from a research that consists of seeking points of encounter and boundaries between the graphic narrative used in the Picture Books and the Comics. Through the analysis of several publications throughout the history of the book, the structural elements of the visual narrative language were mapped, which culminated in the production of a book that involves coexisting imagetic universes that feed back each other. The practical work consists of creating and recording the process of designing an Picture Book. From the documentation of the stages of the creative process, from the initial concept to the construction and materialization of the book object. The documentation demonstrates the experimentation of drawing as a fundamental element in the creation for the composition of illustrations and planning of a structure.
