Resumo: | The possibility of being in a place, with distinctive sound characteristics, for a long period of time, helps to find in silence a creative potentiality. The practice-based research starts from this premise for the elaboration of a cinematographic working method. This work project integrates the short film Silences. It is part of the Master in Multimedia Art. Three silences can be identified in the making of this film. A basic silence that promotes the birth of language. Which is original, natural and wishes to be without noise. Another, acousmatic silence, meditative and of deep listening. Which transforms the subject that listens into an ative open subject and in cine-trance with the place that films. Yet another silence that questions the interval between reality and meaning. Which amplifies perception, which questions the past, history, fears. It thinks what has not yet been deeply discussed, thinks about the unthought. From these silences, dialogues between theory and practice are created in order to think the sound design of the film. Through analysis and experimentation, transitions, disruptions and significations are rehearsed. The importance of the relation silence-sound-image is determined. The cinematographic working method of the film Silences is constructed. |
