Resumo: This document is composed at the end of the Professional studium, a curricular unit inserted in the 2nd Cycle in Physical Education Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education, from the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP). The Internship took place in a school in Porto, with the particularity that its group was composed of only one student, supervised by a Cooperating Teacher and by a Tutor. This report presents the hardships, experiences, developments and strategies used during the school year, together with a group of students of the eleventh grade, which were essential for my professional development. The document is organized in 5 chapters: the "Introduction", which presents the contextualization of the pertinence of this document and the definition of some concepts supported in the existing literature; the "Personal Framework", in which I will try to convey the reasons that led me to choose the area of teaching and sports, based on a continuous process between my past and the present; the "Professional Practice Framework", which defines my understanding of the professional internship, the school that welcomed me and all the participants in its community that somehow took part in the process, and the characterization of the main class and other classes that I taught throughout the Practice of Supervised Teaching; the "Professional Practice Achievement", which is divided into three areas: the area of Organization and teaching Management and Learning, which includes the four central components of a teacher's cycle of action, namely the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of education; the area of School Participation and Community Relations, in which I reflect on the activities where I was involved; and the Professional Development area, where I refer to the research study carried out during the year. This study derived from the need to understand whether private school students, compared to public school students, understand the lack of physical education time, as well as the need for sports in their lives. Finally, some final considerations about my career path where I reflect on my learning and what I expect from the future.
