Resumo: After 4 years of Academic formation, the moment of the Professional Internship comes. As part of the 2nd year study plan of the master's degree in Physical Education Teaching at the University of Porto's Faculty of Sports, this is the last stage of training providing an opportunity to integrate the academic knowledge acquired during the training with the actual experience of teaching in a school context. This document aims to legitimately report the process of evolution of the teacher and his pedagogical practice and, throughout the school year, where he was responsible for a class, and for all decisions inherent to the pedagogical action: planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching. The report is subdivided into five chapters. The first is the "Introduction" where the purpose of this document is stated; the second, "Biographical Framework", refers to the life story, the experiences that influenced this professional choice, the expectations and the role of the internship; the third, "Professional Practice Framework", portrays the professional internship at the institutional, legal and functional level, and also offers an analysis of the context in which the student-intern practice took place; the fourth, "Realization of Professional Practice", encompasses the 3 areas of teacher performance: Area 1 which comprises the sub-themes of teaching planning, practice and assessment; Area 2 refers to the different school activities developed and relations with the school community; and Area 3, which contains the research study on "The effect of the Sports Education Model on promoting motivation for Physical Education classes", contributing to greater professional development. Finally, the chapter "Conclusion and Future Prospects" where a final retrospective of the internship year is presented, as well as some expectations. The completion of this internship was based on a unique set of experiences and learning that contributed not only to development as a professional, but as a person.
