Resumo: An expansion blueprint was executed covering the topics of resources & capabilities, customers & market, logistics, stakeholders and external factors. These five areas were further subdivided and thoroughly analysed via KPIs, in the context of Santarém. As a result, the organization can leverage on a good platform of resources and capabilities, stakeholders and on an attractive and growing market to expand, despite less attractive landscapes regarding logistics and other external factors. Even with significant risks associated, the Santarém district seems a good fit for the expansion of Semear’s business model from a conceptual perspective.
