Resumo: Mathematics, in the broad sense, encompasses infinite components that make it one of the most real and complete sciences that contribute to the development of the human intellect. This view requires the teacher to face the process of teaching and learning mathematics in a way that implies the active participation of students with the spirit of research and discovery, giving its meaning according to the context of the student and their society; make their teaching more attractive to achieve full development. This work presents a methodological approach that combines the problem solving perspective and computational environments as a methodological resource in the classroom for treatment of mathematical concepts. The proposed approach is applied to the treatment of the main concepts of infinitesimal calculus, in the Second Cycle of Secondary Education, using GeoGebra.
