SATISFACTION OF CLIENTS FROM THE AUTONOMOUS REGION OF MADEIRA RECEIVING REHABILITATION NURSING CARE AT THE HEALTH CENTER

Resumo: Background: Satisfaction with the care provided to the person is considered an important indicator of quality of care, based on the perception and appreciation of the care provided to the person, considering his/her needs and expectations. As an indicator, it allows monitoring the quality of health services, with repercussions in their planning, evaluation and continuous improvement. Objective: To assess the level of satisfaction of clients in the Autonomous Region of Madeira who receive rehabilitation nursing care in the health care centers of the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Method: Quantitative, cross-sectional, exploratory-descriptive study. The sample comprised 130 adult clients from the Autonomous Region of Madeira, who received rehabilitation nursing care in the health care centers of the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Level of satisfaction assessed through the application of the Satisfaction of Users with Nursing Care at the Health Care Centre — SUCECS26 evaluation form. Results: Of the participating clients, 80% are female, 59.2% are elderly, 59.2% are married or cohabiting, most have completed the first cycle of schooling (66.2%) and are retired or disabled (63.1%). The reasons for seeking care were mostly orthotraumatologic problems (62.3%). Their overall satisfaction level was 91.33%. Conclusion: The level of satisfaction of clients in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, who receive rehabilitation nursing care in health centers of the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira is high. This study is an indicator of the quality of care provided.

Como indicador permite monitorizar a qualidade dos serviços de saúde, com repercussões na sua planificação, avaliação e melhoria contínua. Objetivo: Avaliar o nível de satisfação dos clientes da Região Autónoma da Madeira, alvo de cuidados de enfermagem de reabilitação nos centros de saúde do Serviço de Saúde da Região Autónoma da Madeira. Método: Estudo quantitativo, transversal, exploratório-descritivo. Amostra constituída por 130 clientes adultos da Região Autónoma da Madeira, alvo dos cuidados de enfermagem de reabilitação nos centros de saúde do Serviço de Saúde da Região Autónoma da Madeira. Nível de satisfação avaliado através da aplicação do formulário de avaliação da Satisfação dos Utentes com os Cuidados de Enfermagem no Centro de Saúde — SUCECS26. Resultados: Dos clientes participantes, 80% são do sexo feminino, 59,2% idosos, 59,2% são casados ou em união de facto, a sua maioria detém o primeiro ciclo de escolaridade (66,2%) e são reformados ou inválidos (63,1%). Os motivos de recurso aos cuidados foram maioritariamente os problemas ortotraumatológicos (62,3%). O seu nível de satisfação global é de 91,33%. Conclusão: O nível de satisfação dos clientes da Região Autónoma da Madeira, alvo dos cuidados de enfermagem de reabilitação nos centros de saúde do Serviço de Saúde da Região Autónoma da Madeira é elevado.
