Resumo: This document was prepared within the scope of the school placement included in the second year of the Master's Degree in Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto (FADEUP). This school placement report refers on the professional internship of a student-intern (the author) whose internship took place at Colégio de Gaia, in classes from all educational cycles, namely secondary education, which will be discussed in more detail throughout these pages. This document is structured as follows: the personal dimension, which encompasses reflections on being a teacher, Physical Education and the teacher-student relationship and initial and final understandings; the professional dimension, which materializes the teaching-learning process from planning to implementation and the investigative dimension, which encompasses a study focused on physical fitness with the objective of acquiring knowledge in the area of physical fitness and improving students' perception and, Finally, the final considerations. Carrying out a curricular internship is an extremely important experience, particularly when trying to obtain a Master's degree in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education, this is because it is essential to have a year with a cooperating teacher who assists and teaches some strategies of teaching, guiding its intern teachers towards reflective and student-centered Physical Education, not forgetting the central role of the teacher-mentor through constant meetings and guidance so that intern teachers can reach a higher level of teaching.
