Resumo: Since a few years ago that the Government of Madeira Island has been betting on the arts in education and its impacts have been quite visible both in terms of school activities and activities that take place outside the school space. Inaddition, there are numerous students who continue their training in the artistic areas, in artistic and cultural institutions and groups, resulting in a broader view of the Value of the Arts in the formation of our children and young people. Inthis understanding, we place the 6th edition of the REGIONAL ARTS WEEK (SRA), which took place from June 15 to 21, 2015, transforming the city of Funchal into a gigantic stage, based on creativity, imagination, color, diverse sounds andmovement. Although recent, this is a format that has already reached a prominent place in the cultural panorama of the city of Funchal, in June, showing another view of the contributions of the arts developed in educational context, both forMadeira and for visitors. This artistic participation is also a great contribution to cultural life, considering the possibility of appreciation and experimentation in a perspective of sharing of experiences, attending to the assistance of the performances of the various participants, as well as in the joint artistic practice that in several moments was provided. On the other hand, the partners that the SRA involved, together with the thousands of photographic and video recordings made throughout the week - bearing the name of Madeira worldwide - express the relevance of these initiatives to the cultural dynamics of Funchal.

On the other hand, the partners that the SRA involved, together with the thousands of photographic and video recordings made throughout the week - bearing the name of Madeira worldwide - express the relevance of these initiatives to the cultural dynamics of Funchal.
