Resumo: The following article describes the development of a pedagogical proposition, through the use of recreation in the educational process of mathematics, with the objective of favoring the understanding of some mathematical concepts by the preschool children. Using the theme “introduction to addition through recreation”, practical activities were developed with a group of children with ages between 5 and 6. The conclusions point to the effect that use of play favors the process of teaching and learning of mathematics and mathematical games that generate creative pleasure, motivation and better solidification of the logical-mathematical thinking.

Avec le theme “initiation à l’addition à travers le ludisme”, on a fait des activités pratiques avec un groupe d’enfants âgés de cinq et six ans. Les conclusions montrent que le ludisme facilite l’enseignement/apprentissage de la mathématique et que les jeux créatifs produisent du plaisir, de la motivation et une meilleure solidification de la pensée logique-mathématique.O presente artigo descreve o desenvolvimento de uma proposta pedagógica, através do uso da ludicidade no processo de ensino aprendizagem da matemática, com o objetivo de facilitar a compreensão de alguns conceitos matemáticos por parte das crianças no pré-escolar. Com o tema “Iniciação à adição através da ludicidade” foram realizadas atividades práticas com um grupo de crianças de idades compreendidas entre os 5 e a 6 anos.
