Resumo: This report portrays the experience and experiences during a challenging school year. Experiences ranging from face-to-face teaching to distance teaching and from primary to secondary education. The obstacles encountered were seen and lived with an attempt to overcome them. This was undoubtedly a different school year that presented its ups and downs, both due to the experience in the role of teacher and the constraints experienced in the previous school year, which extended to the present, due to the limitations imposed by COVID-19. The "ups and downs" marked this year in terms of difficulty and motivation, being assumed by the ES a role with the greatest possible commitment, dedication, and proactivity. Through the completion of the professional internship, it was possible to observe certain behaviours on the part of the students that captivated the need for a study with an interventional purpose. Motivation is one of the most challenging aspects to engage in this initiative. The study developed is related to the students' involvement in Physical Education classes, namely in distance learning (E@D), through the use of the Cooperative Learning Model. If in the face-to-face lessons the students' motivation was already at low levels in relation to the desired ones, with the impact suffered in E@D its decrease was felt, having as consequences a negative change in the students' behaviour. In summary, this report deals with points related to professional and personal development. The critical description and portrait of this Professional Internship report begins, allowing a sensorial, visual, and imaginative involvement, enabling us to immerse ourselves in the experiences of this unusual school year, experienced by a Trainee Student in his/her initial phase of professional development.
