Resumo: The objective of this work was to establish a parallel between the philosophy of art of Martin Heidegger and that of Arthur Danto. For that, I brought, briefly, the work of both, highlighting the elaboration of their thoughts and their main works. Unquestionably, the two philosophies, developed at different times, with different socio, cultural, economic and political contexts, highlighted the influence and importance of the thought of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel: Heidegger when he appropriated the parameter of the Greek model, praised by Hegel; Danto when he used various aspects of Hegelian thought to develop his own thesis. In addition to the foundation in Hegel, the proposed parallel tried to demonstrate that the thoughts of the two philosophers, despite being so different, could carry some approximations and raise countless possibilities for the analysis of the current context. On the other hand, the conviction is reinforced that each one, with their objectives and points of view, made their own rereading of Hegelianism, marking an indelible presence in the history of philosophy on art
