Lean Startup Methodology intends to guide startups during uncertain times when the startup only has the entrepreneur’s idea. The current thesis has the objective to provide the limitations of the Build-Measure-Learn Feedback Loop that is included in the Lean Startup Methodology by Eric Ries and considered by the author a crucial part of the methodology itself. To achieve that, a case study was conducted considering the journey of entrepreneurs who are currently part of a Portuguese startup to understand the major difficulties they faced during the feedback loop. The results show that the startup had difficulties in applying some of the concepts included in the feedback loop. Notwithstanding the above, the feedback loop was essential for startup development.
