Resumo: Introduction: The physical health of the disabled person is always a priority, and this issue is gaining expression over the last years, but it is important that the physical rehabilitation professionals can work with the patients following the guidelines and policies of the procedures. In this scope, one that stands out is the integrality. Objective: To understand the influence of the vocational training on the development of integrality in the context of Physical Rehabilitation. Methodology: Qualitative research based on hermeneutic-dialectic principals with the collect of social-demographical information and interviews guided by a mainline question with the members of a multi professional staff of a Rehabilitation Center and data analysis, using the Method of Senses Interpretation. Results: The talking points of the staff members revealed three analytical categories: the lack of valorization of the integrality on the vocational training, gaps on the learning-teaching process related to Physical Rehabilitation and the lack of proper training and courses focusing on integrality. It is noted a superficial understanding of integrality by the professionals, pointing to the need of changes in health practices; however, this change of direction and focus is linked to the vocational training, demanding the valorization of integrality. Conclusions: Through the Hermeneutic-dialectic concepts it is understood the need of changing in cultural paradigms on the vocational training of professionals, something that will only occur with alterations on the educational goals of graduation courses, where the integral approach must put higher priority on the biological side instead of the reductionism, which means placing the disabled person as the focus of the actions instead of their disability.  It is important to note also the need of future researches to verify possible actions with the purpose of contextualizing integrality on health graduation courses.
