Recently it has become one of the principal tools used by corporations to analyze business data and turn it into actionable insights. This study identifies the effects that culture has on the main and essential drivers for the success of a BI system in an organization. This research combines two culture dimensions (innovation culture and data-driven culture), with the Delone & Mclean information systems success model, in order to evaluate BI success in the post-adoption stage. Based on a sample of 201 users, the results reveal that the usage, user satisfaction, and data-driven culture are important precedents of net benefits. Both use and user satisfaction have a significant relationship between each other, and information quality, system quality, service quality, and innovation culture positively affect user satisfaction. Previous research has focused mainly on the adoption of BI information systems. However, this study evaluates the effects of cultural dimensions on a BI system’s success in the post-adoption stage, while also identifying the critical success factors of this technology.Tam Chuem Vai, CarlosRUNCatarro, Vasco Miguel de Sousa Dias2023-02-27T16:20:11Z2023-01-252023-01-25T00:00:00Zinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/10362/149739TID:203237730enginfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos)instname:Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãoinstacron:RCAAP2023-07-10T16:12:26ZPortal AgregadorONG
