Between laws and straphes: an analysis of discourses on female empowerment and combating violence against women

Resumo: This article aims to analyze the importance of female empowerment discourse in brazilian song lyrics, composed in the last two decades, in favor of denaturalizing abuse and combating violence against women. Based on theoretical and methodological studies of the Bakhtin Circle Bakhtin, 2016 [1950-1952] [1959-1961]; 2017 [1930-1940]; 2018 [1937-1939/1975]; Brait, 2018 [2006]; Bubnova, 1996; Volóchinov, 2017 [1929]), we seek to carry out a dialogical analysis of discourse based on the survey of lyrics of three songs, making use of a comparison with legisla regulations in force in the country. From the discursive analyzes carried out, it is possible to infer that the songs, due to their social amplitude, can be understood and used as a tool in the process of female empowerment and the fight against violence, since they denounce the aggressors and enunciate a confrontation, from a feminist perspective, to social and legal disrespect.

Basado en estudios teóricos y metodológicos del Círculo de Bajtín (Bakhtin, 2016 [1950-1952] [1959-1961]; 2017 [1930-1940]; 2018 [1937-1939/1975];  Brait, 2018 [2006]; Bubnova, 1996; Volóchinov, 2017 [1929]), buscamos realizar un análisis dialógico del discurso a partir del levantamiento de letras de tres canciones, haciendo uso de una comparación con la legislación vigente en el país. De los análisis discursivos realizados, es posible inferir que las canciones, por su amplitud social, pueden ser comprendidas y utilizadas como herramienta en el proceso de empoderamiento femenino y combate a la violencia, ya que denuncian a los agresores y enuncian un enfrentamiento, desde una perspectiva feminista, hasta el irrespeto social y legal.Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar a importância do discurso de empoderamento feminino em letras de músicas brasileiras, compostas nas últimas duas décadas, em prol da desnaturalização de abusos e do combate à violência contra a mulher. Com base teórico-metodológica nos estudos do Círculo de Bakhtin (Bakhtin, 2016 [1950-1952] [1959-1961]; 2017 [1930-1940]; 2018 [1937-1939/1975]; Brait, 2018 [2006]; Bubnova, 1996 ; Volóchinov, 2017 [1929]), busca-se realizar uma análise dialógica do discurso a partir do levantamento de letras de três músicas, fazendo uso de um cotejamento com legislações vigentes no país. A partir das análises discursivas realizadas, é possível inferir as músicas, por sua amplitude social, podem ser compreendidas e utilizadas como uma ferramenta no processo de empoderamento feminino e combate à violência, já que denunciam os agressores e enunciam um enfrentamento, sob uma ótica feminista, ao desrespeito social e legal.
