Scientific production in collaborative networks in the field of Education Policy in Brazil (2000 - 2014)

Resumo: | Abstract: This study investigated the relationship between the standards of scientific production and the academic education policy, through the struggles generated between the different positions of agents in collaborative networks, in the field of Education Policy and Management in the Graduate Programs in Education from the Northeast Region of Brazil, in a 15-year period (2000-2014). Therefore, supported by the sociological doing and by the scientific field theory of Pierre Bourdieu, the paper emphasizes the agents that produce a scientific and institutionalized academic representation of the theme as well as the social conditioning of their practice. Methodologically, it sought to establish the structure of the academic production space through the use of statistical tools. The results pointed out that the organization of the education policy field revolves mainly around the struggles between peers regarding scientific authority. This occurs because achievements linked to the scientific production have great importance in the scientific publication market, where the research results gain visibility inside education graduate program and become credits in the scientific community, which are consequently, traded by other credits in collaborative networks. Scientific Production.Resumen: El presente estudio investigó los procesos de articulación y producción científica por intermedio de las luchas generadas entre las diferentes posiciones de agentes en redes de colaboración, en el campo de la Política Educacional en los programas de pos-graduación en educación de la región nordeste de Brasil, en el período de quince años (2000-2014). Esto se sustentó en el hacer sociológico y en la teoría del campo científico de Pierre Bourdieu, el énfasis recae en el agente que produce una representación académica en el campo de la Política Educacional de carácter científico e institucionalizado, tanto, como los condicionantes sociales de su práctica. Metodológicamente, se buscó establecer la estructura del espacio de producción académica, por medio de la utilización de instrumentos estadísticos y análisis de redes sociales. La organización del campo de la Política Educacional se da, sobretodo, por las disputas emprendidas entre los pares en la búsqueda por la autoridad científica, esto es, la conquista por el crédito científico tiene importancia fundamental en el mercado de publicaciones científicas, en que los resultados de las investigaciones ganan proyecciones en el ámbito de los programas de pos-graduación en educación y se transforman en créditos en la comunidad científica, que, consecuentemente, son intercambiados por otros en redes de colaboración Palabras clave: Política Educativa. Producción Científica.Resumo: O presente estudo investigou os processos de articulação e produção científica por intermédio das lutas geradas entre as diferentes posições de agentes em redes de colaboração, no campo da Política Educacional nos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação da região nordeste do Brasil, no período de quinze anos (2000-2014). Para tal, amparado no fazer sociológico e na teoria do campo científico de Pierre Bourdieu, a ênfase recai no agente que produz uma representação acadêmica no campo da Política Educacional de caráter científico e institucionalizado, bem como os condicionantes sociais de sua prática. Metodologicamente, buscou-se estabelecer a estrutura do espaço de produção acadêmica, por meio da utilização de instrumentos estatísticos e análise de redes sociais. A organização do campo da Política Educacional se dá, sobretudo, pelas disputas empreendidas entre os pares na busca pela autoridade científica, isto é, a conquista pelo crédito científico tem importância fundamental no mercado das publicações científicas, em que os resultados das pesquisas ganham projeções no âmbito dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação e se transformam em créditos na comunidade científica que, consequentemente, são trocados por outros em redes de colaboração.
