Resumo: Abstract: The field of educational policy, despite its relative youth and its origins in political science, already has some specific proposals for relevant research, such as the Policy Cycle Approach, the Approach of Educational Policy Epistemologies (EEPE), Social Cartography and Critical Discourse Analysis, among others. These models aim to contribute to the consolidation of research in this field, within the limits allowed by its meta-analytical character, considering also the presuppositions and theoretical affiliations assumed by its researchers. This descriptive-analytical pluralistic and introductory text aims to present some of the appropriate approaches for research in the field of educational policy from the recognition of its relevance to the training of new researchers. The text is divided into two main parts. The first presents a brief characterization of the field and discusses some issues related to the research concerned. Next, four general approaches are presented for the field research, with the intention of mapping them to those interested in furthering them.   Keywords: Educational policy. Epistemetodologia. Research in educational policy.Resumen: El campo de la política educativa, a pesar de su relativa juventud y vinculación originaria a la ciencia política, ya cuenta con algunas propuestas específicas para la investigación pertinente, como, por ejemplo, el Enfoque del Ciclo de las Políticas, el Enfoque de las Epistemologías de la Política Educativa (EEPE), la Cartografía Social y el Análisis Crítico del Discurso, entre otras. Estos modelos apuntan a contribuir a la consolidación de la investigación en ese campo, en los límites permitidos por su carácter meta-analítico, considerando, aún, los presupuestos y filiaciones teóricas asumidas por sus investigadores. Este texto, de sesgo descriptivo-analítico, enfoque pluralista y carácter introductorio, pretende presentar algunos de los enfoques apropiados para la investigación en el campo de la política educativa a partir del reconocimiento de su relevancia para la formación de los nuevos investigadores. El texto está dividido en dos partes principales. En la primera se presenta una breve caracterización del campo y se discuten algunas cuestiones relacionadas con la investigación concerniente. A continuación, se presentan, en trazos generales, cuatro enfoques apropiados para la investigación del campo, con el propósito de mapearlas para los interesados en profundizarlas posteriormente.   Palabras clave: Política educativa. Tais modelos visam contribuir para a consolidação da pesquisa nesse campo, nos limites permitidos por seu caráter meta-analítico, considerando-se, ainda, os pressupostos e filiações teóricas assumidas por seus investigadores. Este texto, de viés descritivo-analítico, abordagem pluralista e caráter introdutório visa apresentar alguns dos enfoques apropriados para a investigação no campo da política educacional a partir do reconhecimento da sua relevância para a formação dos investigadores iniciantes. O texto está dividido em duas partes principais. Na primeira, apresenta-se uma breve caracterização do campo e discutem-se algumas questões relacionadas à investigação concernente.
