Resumo: Alceu Ranzi is a geographer and palaeontologist, he taught for over thirty years at the Federal University of Acre - UFAC. For more than two decades, he has worked tirelessly in the dissemination and defense of archaeological sites known as geoglyphs. He has just published “Geoglyphs of Acre: deep past”, which narrates the saga of the researcher who proposes to draw the attention of the public authorities and express his concern in the press regarding this heritage. This pilgrimage culminated in important projects and partnerships that adopted multidisciplinary tools to understand the wide distribution of these land structures in the Western Amazon.

Acaba de publicar “Geoglifos de Acre: pasado profundo”, que narra la saga del investigador que se propone llamar la atención de las autoridades públicas y expresar su preocupación en la prensa respecto a este patrimonio. Esta peregrinación culminó en importantes proyectos y alianzas que adoptaron herramientas multidisciplinarias para comprender la amplia distribución de estas estructuras territoriales en la Amazonía occidental.Alceu Ranzi é geógrafo e paleontólogo, lecionou por mais de trinta anos na Universidade Federal do Acre - UFAC.      Há     mais de duas décadas trabalha incansavelmente na divulgação e defesa dos sítios arqueológicos conhecidos como geoglifos. Ele acaba de publicar “Geoglifos do Acre: passado profundo”, que narra a saga do pesquisador que propõe chamar a atenção do poder público e expressar na imprensa sua preocupação com relação a esse patrimônio.
