Post application effects of Covid-19 vaccines in nursing students

Introduction: Adverse effects when applying the Covid-19 vaccine such as: Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer each with different side reactions, whether mild or moderate, disappear shortly after its application, however, there are people who do not present any adverse reaction. Although some suffer from serious effects that can be hospitalized due to its complexity. Objective: Analyze the post-application effects of Covid-19 vaccines in nursing students. Methods: A quantitative and descriptive approach was applied, the population was taken through a random simple non-probabilistic sampling of 270 students of the Nursing Career belonging to the Technical University of Ambato. Results: it was obtained that, among the mild adverse effects, the most frequent was pain at the puncture site with 75.93% and headache with 57.78%, with respect to the serious reaction presented with the highest percentage it was blurred vision with 13.33 %. Conclusions: It is important to know that the presence of any symptom must be treated as soon as possible to avoid infection or contagion by Covid-19.
