Post application effects of Covid-19 vaccines in nursing students

Resumo: | Introduction: Adverse effects when applying the Covid-19 vaccine such as: Sinovac, AstraZeneca and Pfizer each with different side reactions, whether mild or moderate, disappear shortly after its application, however, there are people who do not present any adverse reaction. Although some suffer from serious effects that can be hospitalized due to its complexity. Objective: Analyze the post-application effects of Covid-19 vaccines in nursing students. Methods: A quantitative and descriptive approach was applied, the population was taken through a random simple non-probabilistic sampling of 270 students of the Nursing Career belonging to the Technical University of Ambato. Results: it was obtained that, among the mild adverse effects, the most frequent was pain at the puncture site with 75.93% and headache with 57.78%, with respect to the serious reaction presented with the highest percentage it was blurred vision with 13.33 %. Conclusions: It is important to know that the presence of any symptom must be treated as soon as possible to avoid infection or contagion by Covid-19. |

Aunque algunos padecen de efectos graves que pueden llegar a ser hospitalizados debido a su complejidad. Objetivo: Analizar los efectos post aplicación de vacunas Covid-19 en estudiantes de enfermería. Métodos: Se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo, la población se tomó mediante un muestreo no probabilístico simple aleatorio de 270 estudiantes de la Carrera de Enfermería pertenecientes a la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Resultados: se obtuvo que, entre los efectos adversos leves con mayor frecuencia fue el dolor en el sitio de punción con un 75.93% y dolor de cabeza con el 57.78%, respecto a la reacción grave presentada con mayor porcentaje fue visión borrosa con un 13.33%. Conclusiones: Es importante saber que la presencia de algún síntoma debe ser atendido a la brevedad posible para evitar la infección o contagio por el Covid-19.Introdução: Os efeitos adversos na aplicação da vacina Covid-19 como: Sinovac, AstraZeneca e Pfizer, cada uma com diferentes reações colaterais, sejam elas leves ou moderadas, desaparecem logo após sua aplicação, porém, existem pessoas que não apresentam nenhuma reação adversa. Embora alguns sofram graves sequelas que podem ser internados devido à sua complexidade. Objetivo: Analisar os efeitos pós-aplicação das vacinas Covid-19 em estudantes de enfermagem. Métodos: Foi aplicada uma abordagem quantitativa e descritiva, a população foi tomada através de uma amostragem aleatória simples não probabilística de 270 estudantes da Carreira de Enfermagem pertencentes à Universidade Técnica de Ambato. Resultados: constatou-se que entre os efeitos adversos leves mais frequentes estava a dor no local da punção com 75,93% e a cefaléia com 57,78%, em relação à reação grave apresentada com maior percentual foi a visão turva com 13,33%.
