Resumo: Introduction: Academic satisfaction is an indicator of quality, it represents the well-being, identification and empowerment of the student for studying his career. At the university level, the degree of satisfaction is associated with academic commitment, infrastructure, health, psychosocial well-being, teaching support, communication, teaching, study plans and needs. There are few studies on university satisfaction in the nursing career. Objective: To identify the levels of academic satisfaction in sixth and seventh semester students of the nursing career at the Technical University of Ambato. Methods: Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional cohort study, with simple random probability sampling, 104 participants completed the Questionnaire of Satisfaction of University Students with their Education (SEUE). Results: It was found that 68.72% of the students were quite satisfied in relation to the level of total university academic satisfaction.

Existen pocos estudios sobre la satisfacción universitaria en la carrera de enfermería. Objetivo: identificar los niveles de satisfacción académica en los estudiantes de sexto y séptimo semestre de la carrera de Enfermería de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Métodos: Estudio observacional, descriptivo, de cohorte transversal, con muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple, se obtuvieron 104 participantes que completaron el Cuestionario de Satisfacción de los Estudiantes Universitarios con su Educación (SEUE). Resultados: Se encontró que el 68,72% de los estudiantes estuvo bastante satisfecho en relación al nivel de satisfacción académica universitaria total.Introdução: A satisfação acadêmica é um indicador de qualidade, representa o bem-estar, a identificação e o empoderamento do aluno para estudar sua carreira. No nível universitário, o grau de satisfação está associado ao comprometimento acadêmico, infraestrutura, saúde, bem-estar psicossocial, apoio pedagógico, comunicação, ensino, planos de estudo e necessidades. Existem poucos estudos sobre satisfação universitária na carreira de enfermagem. Objetivo: identificar os níveis de satisfação académica nos alunos do sexto e sétimo semestre da carreira de Enfermagem da Universidade Técnica de Ambato. Métodos: Estudo de coorte observacional, descritivo, transversal, com amostragem probabilística aleatória simples, foram obtidos 104 participantes que responderam ao Questionário de Satisfação do Aluno Universitário com sua Formação (SEUE).
