Resumo: | Problem Solving as a methodology has been consolidating itself as an important didactic strategy for teaching Mathematics at the most diverse levels of education. Several researches show that the use of Problem Solving in Higher Education can bring benefits to the teaching, learning and assessment processes of Mathematics. In this sense, this study aims to understand how the teaching of Mathematics through Problem Solving can contribute to the learning of the concepts of the discipline of Geometric Design and Descriptive Geometry in the conception of the undergraduate in Mathematics. For this, qualitative research was carried out with 21 students from the period 2021.2 of the Full Degree in Mathematics course at the State University of Paraíba (Campus VII), which was carried out through a questionnaire via Google Forms. Through this study, it was possible to verify that the teaching of Mathematics through Problem Solving can be a methodological possibility to provide a satisfactory learning of the concepts of the aforementioned discipline, as it contributed to a satisfactory learning of the concepts of the discipline, improved the skills of arguing and explain, as well as the autonomy of the licentiates. |

Diversas investigaciones muestran que el uso de la Resolución de Problemas en la Educación Superior puede traer beneficios a los procesos de enseñanza, aprendizaje y evaluación de las Matemáticas. En ese sentido, este estudio tiene como objetivo comprender cómo la enseñanza de las Matemáticas a través de la Resolución de Problemas puede contribuir al aprendizaje de los conceptos de la disciplina Diseño Geométrico y Geometría Descriptiva en la concepción del pregrado en Matemáticas. Para ello, se realizó una investigación cualitativa con 21 estudiantes del período 2021.2 del curso de Grado Completo en Matemáticas de la Universidad Estadual de Paraíba (Campus VII), que se realizó a través de un cuestionario a través de Google Forms. A través de este estudio se pudo comprobar que la enseñanza de las Matemáticas a través de la Resolución de Problemas puede ser una posibilidad metodológica para brindar un aprendizaje satisfactorio de los conceptos de la mencionada disciplina, ya que contribuyó a un aprendizaje satisfactorio de los conceptos de la disciplina, mejorado las habilidades para argumentar y explicar, así como la autonomía de los licenciados.A Resolução de Problemas enquanto metodologia vem se consolidando como uma importante estratégia didática para o ensino de Matemática nos mais diversos níveis de ensino. Diversas pesquisas, mostram que o uso da Resolução de Problemas no Ensino Superior pode trazer benefícios para os processos de ensino, aprendizagem e avaliação da Matemática. Nesse sentido, esse estudo tem por objetivo compreender como o ensino de Matemática através da Resolução de Problemas pode contribuir para o aprendizado dos conceitos da disciplina de Desenho Geométrico e Geometria Descritiva na concepção do próprio licenciando em Matemática. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa com 21 estudantes do período 2021.2 do curso de Licenciatura Plena em Matemática da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (Campus VII), a qual foi realizada por meio de um questionário via Google Forms.
