Financial Education in High School: didactic activities developed by Mathematics undergraduates

Resumo: | The National Curricular Common Base indicates the need to weave discussions on Financial Education in Basic Education, in a transversal and integrative way. Although, most of its mentions are generated in the Mathematics curricular component. In addition to inserting this theme in Brazilian schools, it is pertinent to discuss Financial Education in the training of Mathematics teachers, preparing them for their future professional field. In this way, we aim to present didactic activities on Financial Education aimed at High School, developed by undergraduate students in Mathematics from a public university in São Paulo. As a theoretical contribution, we adopted the notes of School Financial Education, Critical Mathematics Education and three descriptors: Interpretation of the Context, Decision Making and Argument in Decision Making. We hope that the activities presented can collaborate with the real insertion of Financial Education in Basic Education, especially at times related to the context of students, reality and criticality. |

We hope that the activities presented can collaborate with the real insertion of Financial Education in Basic Education, especially at times related to the context of students, reality and criticality.A Base Nacional Comum Curricular indica a necessidade de tecer discussões sobre Educação Financeira na Educação Básica, de forma transversal e integrador, apesar de grande parte de suas menções serem geradas no componente curricular Matemática. Além de inserir essa temática nas escolas brasileiras, é pertinente discutir sobre a Educação Financeira na formação do professor de Matemática, preparando-o para seu futuro campo profissional. Dessa forma, objetivamos apresentar atividades didáticas sobre Educação Financeira voltadas ao Ensino Médio, elaboradas por licenciandos em Matemática de uma universidade pública paulista. Como aporte teórico, adotamos os apontamentos de Educação Financeira Escolar, da Educação Matemática Crítica e três descritores: Interpretação do Contexto, Tomada de Decisão e Argumento na Tomada de Decisão.
