Resumo: | This work was developed in the context of a discipline that discusses scientific education in non-school spaces, offered in the course of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. In order to problematize aspects that touch the process of production of scientific knowledge, we elaborated an event in which students visited the research spaces at the Institute of Biological Sciences of the University and knew the work of the biologist through interactive sections that showed the three major areas of biology. From this formative experience the actors involved had the opportunity to question visions of scientists that circulate in common sense, deconstruct stereotypes and recognize the contributions related to scientific education in different spaces of the school |

Tratando de problematizar aspectos que tocan el proceso de producción del conocimiento científico, preparamos un evento en el que los estudiantes visitaron los espacios de investigé en el Instituto de Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad y conocí el trabajo de biólogo a través de secciones interactivas que muestran las tres áreas principales de la biología. El a partir de esta experiencia formativa, los actores involucrados tuvieron la oportunidad de cuestionar opiniones científicas que circulan en sentido común, deconstruyen estereotipos y reconocen contribuciones relacionadas con la educación científica en espacios que no sean la escuela.Este trabalho foi desenvolvido no contexto de uma disciplina que discute educação científica em espaços não escolares, oferecida no curso de licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. Elaboramos um evento em que educandos visitaram os espaços de pesquisa no Instituto de Ciências Biológicas da Universidade e conheceram o trabalho do(a) biólogo(a), relacionando o passado, presente e futuro dessa área de atuação dentro da ciência.
