Resumo: | The covid-19 pandemic brought several questions on the production of vaccines and their reliability. This investigative didactic sequence (IDS) aimed to demistify some fake news and clarify to students why some diseases have their respective vaccines available in a short period of time while others take longer. Firstly, through an activity, the students analyzed what are the steps for the production of a vaccine. The students raised hypotheses and conducted research to answer the question. It was noticed that de IDS could bring a new meaning to the student’s knowledge about the subject and that they were able to contextualize the concepts with reality. |

It was noticed that de IDS could bring a new meaning to the student’s knowledge about the subject and that they were able to contextualize the concepts with reality.La pandemia de covid-19 trajo una serie de interrogantes relacionados a la producción de vacunas y si de hecho estas son confiables. Esta secuencia didáctica investigativa (SDI) tuvo como objetivo desmitificar algunas “fake News” y aclarar a los estudiantes por qué algunas enfermedades tienen sus respectivas vacunas disponibles en un corto período de tiempo, mientras que otras tardan más. Inicialmente se hizo um trabajo con los estudiantes mostrando y siguiendo los pasos de producción de una vacuna y luego los estudiantes plantearon hipótesis y realizaron investigaciones para dar respuesta al problema. Se notó que el SDI puede dar un nuevo significado al conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre el tema y que pudieron entender los conceptos relacionados con la realidade. A pandemia da covid-19 trouxe uma série de dúvidas com respeito à produção de vacinas e sua confiabilidade. Em vista disso, esta sequência didática investigativa (SDI) teve o objetivo de desmistificar algumas “fake news” e esclarecer aos estudantes por que algumas doenças têm suas respectivas vacinas disponibilizadas em um curto período de tempo, enquanto outras são mais demoradas. Inicialmente, trabalhou-se com os alunos as etapas para a produção de uma vacina, e, em seguida, os estudantes levantaram hipóteses e realizaram pesquisas para responder à problemática.
