Environmental education and education of biology: non-formatic socio-cultural actions in São Paulo-SP

Resumo: | On this text, we present some environmental education and biology teaching actions developed at the Instituto Educadores Sem Fronteiras (ESF), São Paulo-SP, that involves an interdisciplinary, playful approach, information and communication technologies, encouraging students‟ participation and contextualization. We will present integrated classes of biology and chemistry on water crisis, tree of life and states of matter and activities developed in some classes, such as projects, and extra class actions. The learning process was continuous, being developed throughout the year and not in a punctual way, in agreement with the main assumptions of environmental and scientific education. Relevant and fundamental to the process was the intense engagement of students in the socio-environmental debate, during the activities described. |

Presentaremos clases integradas de biología y química sobre la crisis del agua, el árbol de la vida y los estados de la materia y las actividades desarrolladas en algunas clases, como proyectos y acciones extraclases. El proceso de aprendizaje fue continuo, se desarrolló durante todo el año y no de manera oportuna, de acuerdo con los principales supuestos de la educación ambiental y científica. Relevante y fundamental para el proceso fue la intensa participación de los estudiantes en el debate socioambiental, durante las actividades descritas.Neste texto, apresentamos ações de educação ambiental e ensino de biologia desenvolvidas no Instituto Educadores Sem Fronteiras (ESF), São Paulo-SP, envolvendo uma abordagem interdisciplinar, lúdica, tecnologias de informação e comunicação, incentivo à participação dos alunos e a contextualização. Apresentaremos aulas integradas de biologia e química sobre crise hídrica, árvore da vida e estados da matéria e atividades desenvolvidas em algumas aulas, como projeto, e ações extraclasse. O processo aprendizagem foi contínuo, sendo desenvolvido ao longo do ano e não de forma pontual, em concordância com os principais pressupostos da educação ambiental e científica.
