Resumo: | Results of a corroborative DNA sequencing analysis for five glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) mutations previously defined by PCR-restriction enzyme analysis are presented. The suitability for performing DNA sequencing analysis is discussed along with the importance of selecting the proper PCR-REA strategy in order to define the presence of a specific mutation . |
