Equilíbrio trabalho-família no modelo home-office

Resumo: The entrance of woman in the working Market from the 1960s forged discussions about the balance between work and family. The hegemonic family structure of this time had at its core a heterosexual couple, in which the man occupied the role of provider and the woman caregiver .Almost 70 years later, this family structure is still the most common in Brazil, however, these roles are more diffuse. The sphere of work has also changed. New models emerged and began to affect intrafamily relationships. Home-office work is an example of new work models, which emerged approximately in the 1970s and are tending to increase. Few Brazilian studies have investigated the impacts of this model on family balance, so this study aims to investigate whether there is a difference in the workplace and the division of household and family tasks, perception of emotional support, job satisfaction, quality of life and self esteem. The study included 27 women and 7 men working in a centralized environment and 28 women and 6 men who worked from home, aged between 18 and 56 years. Participants were recruited from social medias and answered an online questionnaire consisting of characterization questions, Critério Brasil, Quality of Life Scale, Self-Esteem Scale, Work Satisfaction Scale and Task Division Scale. Data were statistically analyzed from measures of central tendency and dispersion and correlation data between variables. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between centralized local workers and those who use from their homes in relation to the analyzed variation; a workday and task-related quality of life for the centralized workgroup rather than the home-office group. It was concluded that the balance factors between work and family are the same for both work models.

O arranjo familiar hegemônico vigente na mesma época apresentava um núcleo formado por um casal heterossexual, formando uma família nuclear, no qual o homem ocupava o papel de provedor e a mulher o de cuidadora do lar. Quase 70 anos depois, esse arranjo familiar ainda é o mais comum no Brasil, entretanto, esses papéis aparecem mais difusos. A esfera do trabalho também mudou. Novos modelos surgiram e passaram a afetar as relações intrafamiliares. O trabalho a partir do domicílio (home-office) é um exemplo de novos modelos de trabalho, o qual surgiu aproximadamente na década de 1970 e vem tendencialmente aumentando. Poucos estudos brasileiros investigaram os impactos deste modelo no equilíbrio familiar, assim o presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar se existe diferença quanto ao local de trabalho e a divisão de tarefas domésticas e familiares, percepção de apoio emocional, satisfação com o trabalho, qualidade de vida e autoestima. Participaram do estudo 27 mulheres e 7 homens que trabalhavam em ambiente centralizado e 28 mulheres e 6 homens que trabalhavam a partir do domicílio, com idades entre 18 e 56 anos. Os participantes foram recrutados em redes sociais e responderam a um questionário online constituído por dados de caracterização, Critério Brasil, Escala de Qualidade de Vida, Escala de Autoestima, Escala de Satisfação com o Trabalho e Escala de Divisão de Tarefas. Os dados foram analisados estatisticamente a partir de medidas de tendência central e dispersão e dados de correlação entre as variáveis. Os resultados indicaram que não houve diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os trabalhadores de locais centralizados e aqueles que trabalham a partir de suas residências em relação as variáveis analisadas; a jornada de trabalho e a qualidade de vida se mostraram relacionadas à divisão de tarefas para o grupo de trabalho centralizado e não para o grupo de home-office.
