Resumo: | The present work approaches aspects related to multiple childhoods and baby's body language. It arose from the need to understand the different ways of being a baby and how babies use body language to communicate. To achieve this objective, a bibliographical research was carried out and the work was divided into three stages: the Memorial, the Methodology and the Theoretical Framework, which present contemporary conceptions about childhood, singularities of early childhood and the body language of babies from zero to two years old. The investigation found that the importance of movement for child development is theoretically recognized in the field of Education, however, in practice there are still some prohibitions of child movement, as well as a difficulty in recognizing and valuing its need. It was verified the importance of playing for the development of the babies' body language, their decision-making, expression of feelings, knowledge of themselves, others and the world. Furthermore, it was observed the enhancement of adequate spaces with possibilities of exploration and stimuli for babies that provide safe conditions to guarantee their development. |

Ele surgiu da necessidade de compreender os diferentes modos de ser bebê e de como os bebês utilizam a linguagem corporal para se comunicar. Para alcançar tal objetivo, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e o trabalho foi dividido em três momentos: o Memorial, a Metodologia e o Quadro teórico, que apresentam as concepções contemporâneas sobre infâncias, singularidades da primeira infância e linguagem corporal de bebês de zero a dois anos. A investigação verificou que a importância do movimento para o desenvolvimento infantil é reconhecida teoricamente no campo da Educação, no entanto, na prática ainda persistem algumas proibições do movimento da criança, bem como uma dificuldade em reconhecer e valorizar sua necessidade. Verificou-se a importância do brincar para o desenvolvimento da linguagem corporal dos bebês, de sua tomada de decisões, expressão de sentimentos, conhecimento de si, dos outros e do mundo.
