Resumo: The object of the present research, the disciplining of the babies' bodies in the daycare center, emerged during the internship experiences in a classroom with two-year-old babies and also from the professional work as a professional in Early Childhood Education. In those contexts were observed disciplinary actions and strict control of bodies and movements of babies by educators. So the research question-problem was born: What are the consequences in the life of the young child of disciplining the bodies in the nursery? The work is divided into three chapters. The first is the Memorial, which gathers reflections on school life and field experiences at school that led to the study of the subject in question. The second chapter presents a methodology that configures a qualitative research, of bibliographic character complemented by the analysis of some field experiences. The third chapter presents the theoretical framework and reflections on school routine situations that were marked by discipline, control of babies' bodies. The results point to losses for children in relation to their integral development as a consequence of the exacerbation of the schooling of young children, with impositions of rigid postures for their bodies and prohibition of playing, the most important activity in this age group, through which she learns and develops.

Nestes contextos foram observadas ações de disciplinamento e controle rígido dos corpos e dos movimentos dos bebês por parte das educadoras. Daí nasceu a questão-problema de pesquisa: Quais as consequências na vida da criança pequena do disciplinamento dos corpos na creche? O trabalho está dividido em três capítulos. O primeiro é o Memorial, que reúne reflexões sobre a vida escolar e as experiências de campo na escola que levaram ao estudo do tema em questão. O segundo capítulo apresenta a metodologia que configurou uma pesquisa qualitativa, de caráter bibliográfico complementada pela análise de algumas experiências de campo. O terceiro capítulo apresenta o quadro teórico e as reflexões sobre as situações da rotina escolar que foram marcadas pelo disciplinamento, controle dos corpos dos bebês.
