Resumo: COVID-19 is a single-stranded, ribonucleic acid virus, responsible for producing an influenza-like syndrome. It appeared in December 2019, in the Hubei region, China. This virus has spread throughout the world and today is a global pandemic, due to its rapid form of transmission and worsening in predisposed people. The professionals of the Family Health Strategy carry out an active search in the community of possible cases of flu syndrome and seek prevention and isolation, the manuals of national and international bodies, in addition to monitoring each case and the evolution, with the aim of main function, in this current pandemic, to track new cases of flu syndrome, suspected or positive cases for COVID-19, isolate these users at home, carry out family monitoring and guidance for family members and caregivers.

Los profesionales de la Estrategia de Salud de la Familia realizan una búsqueda activa en la comunidad de posibles casos de síndrome gripal y buscan prevención y aislamiento, los manuales de organismos nacionales e internacionales, además de monitorear cada caso y la evolución, con el objetivo de La función principal, en esta pandemia actual, es rastrear nuevos casos de síndrome gripal, casos sospechosos o positivos para COVID-19, aislar a estos usuarios en el hogar, llevar a cabo un monitoreo familiar y orientación para los familiares y cuidadores.O COVID-19 é um vírus de ácido ribonucleico de fita única e envolvido, responsável pela produção de uma síndrome semelhante à influenza. Surgiu em dezembro de 2019, na região de Hubei, China. Esse vírus se espalhou por todo mundo e hoje é uma pandemia global, devido sua forma rápida de transmissão e o agravamento em pessoas predispostas.
