Resumo: The Covid-19 pandemic announces something that has never been experienced by contemporary people. A virus that chronifies a series of inequalities and processes that affect subjects differently. In view of the statistical data on deaths, we actuate historical processes that are updated in the present, questioning who is dying and who was already marked to die, under the logic of state racism and necro-politics. We seek to reflect on whether the pandemic produces the new infamous and intensifies the production of bodies not subject to mourning, which implies a non-trivialization, a concern about not getting used to death that doesn’t reach all in the same way, in the direction of an ethics that focuses on the struggle for life.
