A NEW-OLD HISTORY OF IDEAS: “EDUCATIONAL THOUGHT” AT THE 1ST BRAZILIAN CONGRESS OF HISTORY OF EDUCATION (2000)

Resumo: | It analyzes “Educational Thought” papers at the 1st Brazilian Congress of History of Education (Rio de Janeiro, 2000). This article relates its contents to the historical information about postgraduate research practices and disciplinary legacies. It is considered that scientific meetings reveal contents, canons, and ways of doing into an intellectual community, as well as the interpersonal and institutional positions and relationships involved in the production of knowledge. It is concluded that papers reflect the regional expansion of institutions, the nucleation of lines and research groups, the predominance of public institutions, and government support. In addition, the tradition of the history of pedagogy prevails in the treatment of the theme, as it has been replicated in advising and incorporated as academic know-how. |

En este artículo, sus contenidos están relacionados con la información histórica sobre las prácticas de investigación de posgrado y los legados disciplinares. Se considera que las reuniones científicas revelan contenidos, cánones y modos de hacer de una comunidad intelectual, así como las posiciones y relaciones interpersonales e institucionales involucradas en la producción de conocimiento. Se concluye que esas ponencias reflejan la expansión regional de las instituciones, la nucleación de líneas y grupos de investigación, el predominio de las instituciones públicas y el apoyo gubernamental. Además, la tradición de la historia de la pedagogía prevalece en el tratamiento del tema, ya que ha sido replicada en las supervisiones e incorporada como un saber-hacer académico.Analisa as comunicações sobre “Pensamento Educacional” no 1o Congresso Brasileiro de História da Educação (Rio de Janeiro, 2000). Neste artigo, relacionam-se os seus conteúdos a informações históricas sobre as práticas de pesquisa na pós-graduação e as heranças disciplinares. Considera-se que as reuniões científicas revelam conteúdos, cânones e modos de fazer de uma comunidade intelectual, assim como as posições e relações interpessoais e institucionais implicadas na produção do conhecimento. Conclui-se que as comunicações refletem a expansão regional das instituições, a nucleação de linhas e grupos de pesquisa, o predomínio das instituições públicas e do fomento governamental.
