THE NATURE OF MATHEMATICAL KNOWLEDGE AND THE SUBJECT OF REAL ANALYSIS: BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS FROM A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Resumo: With this essay I propose to discuss the following concerns: which conceptions of mathematical knowledge influenced the development of the discipline of Real Analysis? Do these conceptions still influence your teaching or are other ways of thinking about mathematical knowledge present in your teaching in the Mathematics Degree? And as the general objective of understanding the relationship between the main philosophical conceptions about the nature of mathematical knowledge, the emergence of real Analysis and its teaching in the degree in mathematics today, I briefly present the main conceptions about the nature of mathematical knowledge; I briefly highlight some considerations about the development of Real Analysis; and describe the methodological procedures used to look for clues to identify concepts or trends that influence the teaching of Analysis in undergraduate courses today. Therefore, from a qualitative bibliographical research, inspired by the methodology of systematic literature review and with the help of the IRaMuTeq software, I hope to enrich my knowledge of the conceptions about the nature of mathematical knowledge and about the development of the Real Analysis and contribute to the discussions on the topic in the field of Mathematics Education.

Y como objetivo general de comprender la relación entre las principales concepciones filosóficas sobre la naturaleza del conocimiento matemático, el surgimiento del Análisis real y su enseñanza en la licenciatura en matemática actual, presento brevemente las principales concepciones sobre la naturaleza del conocimiento matemático; Destaco brevemente algunas consideraciones sobre el desarrollo de Real Analysis; y describir los procedimientos metodológicos utilizados para buscar pistas para identificar conceptos o tendencias que influyen en la enseñanza del Análisis en los cursos de pregrado en la actualidad. Por ello, a partir de una investigación bibliográfica cualitativa, inspirada en la metodología de revisión sistemática de la literatura y con la ayuda del software IRaMuTeq, espero enriquecer mi conocimiento de las concepciones sobre la naturaleza del conocimiento matemático y sobre el desarrollo del Análisis Real y contribuir a las discusiones sobre el tema en el campo de la Educación Matemática.Com esse ensaio proponho discutir as seguintes inquietações: quais concepções de conhecimento matemático influenciaram o desenvolvimento da disciplina de Análise Real? Essas concepções ainda influenciam seu ensino ou outras formas de pensar o conhecimento matemático fazem-se presentes em seu ensino na licenciatura em matemática? E como o objetivo geral de compreender a relação entre as principais concepções filosóficas sobre a natureza do conhecimento matemático, o surgimento da Análise real e o seu ensino na licenciatura em matemática na atualidade, apresento brevemente as principais concepções sobre a natureza do conhecimento matemático; destaco suscintamente algumas considerações sobre o desenvolvimento da Análise Real; e descrevo os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados para buscar indícios para identificar concepções ou tendencias que influenciam o ensino da Analise nos cursos de licenciatura na atualidade.
