THE PERIODIZATION OF DEVELOPMENT IN HISTORICAL PSYCHOLOGY CULTURAL: FUNDAMENTALS FOR PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE?

Resumo: | The objective of this article is to present the results of a research on academic productions arising from dissertations and theses published in Postgraduate Programs in Brazil, which researched about the periodization of human development and its relations with pedagogical practice, based on the foundations of Historical-Cultural Psychology. Initially, we will address the periodization of human development and, subsequently, we will address the relationship between teaching and learning and the results of the research carried out. A survey of dissertations and theses was carried out in the repository of the Theses and Dissertations Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), which address the topic of periodization of human development. The search was carried out in June 2020. In this search, 83 dissertations and 42 theses were selected for analysis. When analyzing the works, attention is drawn to the growth in the number of publications over the 35 years, however, it was in the last decade that there was a greater concentration of work productions. In addition, we found that the teaching stage most researched by the authors was Early Childhood Education. Some concepts/themes are present in the texts, such as: teacher mediation, the relationship between development and learning, zone of proximal development (ZPD), scientific knowledge, higher psychological functions and affect-cognition unit, aspects that we consider necessary for the pedagogical process. In conclusion, we emphasize that knowledge based on Historical-Cultural Psychology on the periodization of human development can support and provide tools for the planning and actions of the teacher in his/her professional activity. |

Inicialmente, se aborda la periodización del desarrollo humano y, en la secuencia, se aborda la relación entre enseñanza y aprendizaje y los resultados de la investigación realizada. Se hiso una búsqueda de tesinas y tesis en el repositorio del Portal de Tesis y Tesinas de la Coordinación de Perfeccionamiento de Personal de Nivel Universitario (Capes), que abordan el tema de la periodización del desarrollo humano. La búsqueda se realizó en junio de 2020. Se seleccionadas 83 tesinas y 42 tesis para análisis. Al analizar los estudios, llama a la atención el crecimiento del número de publicaciones en el transcurrir de los 35 años, sin embargo, fue en la última década que hubo más concentración de las producciones de estudios. Además, se consta que el nivel de enseñanza más investigado por los autores fue la Educación Infantil. Algunos conceptos/temas están presentes en los textos, así como: mediación del profesor, la relación entre desarrollo y aprendizaje, zona de desarrollo cercano (ZDP), conocimientos científicos, funciones psicológicas superiores y unidad afecto-cognición, aspectos que consideramos necesarios al proceso pedagógico. A título de conclusión, se pone de relieve que los conocimientos fundamentados en la Psicología Histórico-Cultural sobre la periodización del desarrollo humano pueden subsidiar e instrumentalizar la planificación y las acciones del profesor en su actividad profesional.O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre as produções acadêmicas advindas das dissertações e teses publicadas em Programas de Pós-Graduação no Brasil, que pesquisaram sobre a periodização do desenvolvimento humano e sua relação com a prática pedagógica, tomando como base os fundamentos da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural. Inicialmente, vamos abordar a periodização do desenvolvimento humano e, na sequência, abordaremos a relação entre ensino e aprendizagem e os resultados da pesquisa realizada. Foi feito um levantamento de dissertações e teses no repositório do Portal de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), que abordam o tema da periodização do desenvolvimento humano. A busca foi realizada em junho de 2020. Foram selecionadas 83 dissertações e 42 teses para estudo. Ao analisar os trabalhos, chama a atenção o crescimento do número de publicações no decorrer dos 35 anos, no entanto, foi na última década que houve maior concentração das produções de trabalhos. Além disso, constatamos que a etapa de ensino mais pesquisada pelos autores foi a Educação Infantil. Alguns conceitos/temas estão presentes nos textos, tais como: mediação do professor, a relação entre desenvolvimento e aprendizagem, zona de desenvolvimento próximo (ZDP), conhecimentos científicos, funções psicológicas superiores e unidade afeto-cognição, aspectos que consideramos necessários para o processo pedagógico. A título de conclusão, ressaltamos que os conhecimentos fundamentados na Psicologia Histórico-Cultural sobre a periodização do desenvolvimento humano podem subsidiar e instrumentalizar o planejamento e as ações do professor em sua atividade profissional.
