THE BODY AND THE GEOPOLITICS OF TECHNOCOLONIZATION, TECHNOCOLONIALITY OF THE BODY IN ART, CULTURE AND EDUCATION! (2ND PART)

Resumo: The “concept” of technocoloniality (2020) has been epistemologically “defined” in parts because the reflection is premised on a larger discussion that considers the body in its contemporary technological totality that also considers different understandings of and about technology. The first idea of the epistemic formulation of technocoloniality is about the geopolitical condition of technology that has been posited as a fundamental premise of the human body's current existence. While the body that is aware of technocoloniality is the body that recognizes the role of contemporary colonization/coloniality imposed on bodies by the requirement to use technology as the only mode of survival. However, in this case, the body that does not want to be technological, also does not want to be colonized by technology (techno(logical)), for sure it will not allow itself to survive only if it submits to technocoloniality, therefore, it is a body aware of the geopolitics imposed, especially, by the project of technical universalization and therefore it does not submit itself to existence only if it participates in technology. Considering this and also taking into account the first part already exposed in which I had to highlight the “economic of death” and “hate” (2020a) policies of the last Federal Government that de-treated the pandemic, this second part will directly address the technocoloniality in the body of art in contemporaneity as an artifice of colonization. To support this epistemological construction I will draw on postmodern (contemporary) debates about technological art bodies, which understand the body as necessarily linked to technology for production; I will also use modern discussions that have classified non-European bodies. Anchoring these approaches will be a decolonial episteme by the critical biogeographic border perspective to unlink body and technology as a possibility of coexistence between colonial differences in contemporaneity.

La primera idea de la formulación epistémica sobre la tecnocolonialidad se refiere a la condición geopolítica de la tecnología que se nos ha planteado como premisa fundamental de la existencia actual del cuerpo humano. Mientras que el cuerpo consciente de la tecnocolonialidad es el cuerpo que reconoce el papel de la colonización/colonialidad contemporánea impuesta a los cuerpos por la exigencia de utilizar la tecnología como único modo de supervivencia. Sin embargo, en este caso, el cuerpo que no quiere ser tecnológico, tampoco quiere ser colonizado por la tecnología (tecno(lógico)), seguro que no se permitirá sobrevivir sólo si se somete a la tecnocolonialidad, por lo tanto, es un cuerpo consciente de la geopolítica impuesta, especialmente, por el proyecto de universalización técnica y por lo tanto no se somete a la existencia sólo si participa de la tecnología. Considerando esto y también teniendo en cuenta la primera parte ya expuesta en la que tuve que destacar las políticas de “economía de muerte” y “odio” (2020a) del último Gobierno Federal que trató la pandemia, esta segunda parte abordará directamente la tecnocolonialidad en el cuerpo del arte en la contemporaneidad como artificio de colonización. Para apoyar esta construcción epistemológica me basaré en los debates posmodernos (contemporáneos) sobre los cuerpos tecnológicos del arte, que entienden el cuerpo como necesariamente ligado a la tecnología para la producción; también utilizaré las discusiones modernas que han clasificado los cuerpos no europeos. El anclaje de estos enfoques será una episteme decolonial a través de la perspectiva de la frontera biogeográfica crítica para desvincular cuerpo y tecnología como una posibilidad de coexistencia entre las diferencias coloniales en la contemporaneidad.O “conceito” de tecnocolonialidade (2020) vem sendo “definido” epistemologicamente em partes porque a reflexão tem como premissa uma discussão maior que contempla o corpo na sua totalidade tecnológica contemporânea que também considera entendimentos diferentes da e sobre a tecnologia. A primeira ideia da formulação epistêmica sobre a tecnocolonialidade acerca-se da condição geopolítica da tecnologia que nos foi colocada como premissa fundamental da existência atual do corpo humano. Enquanto o corpo consciente da tecnocolonialidade é o corpo que reconhece o papel de colonização/colonialidade contemporâneo imposto aos corpos pela exigência da utilização da tecnologia como único modo de sobrevivência. Entretanto, neste caso, o corpo que não se quer tecnológico, também não se quer colonizado pela tecnologia (tecno(lógico)), ao certo não vai se permitir sobreviver apenas se submisso à tecnocolonialidade, portanto, é um corpo consciente da geopolítica imposta, especialmente, pelo projeto de universalização técnica e por isso não se submete à existência apenas se partícipe da tecnologia. Considerando isso e levanto em conta também a primeira parte já exposta em que tive que evidenciar as políticas “econômica da morte” e do “ódio” (2020a) do último Governo Federal que destrataram a pandemia, esta segunda parte abordará diretamente a tecnocolonialidade no corpo da arte na contemporaneidade como artifício de colonização. Para subsidiar esta construção epistemológica me valerei dos debates pós-modernos (contemporâneos) acerca dos corpos artísticos tecnológicos, que compreendem o corpo necessariamente vinculado à tecnologia para a produção; usarei também das discussões modernas que classificaram os corpos não europeus.
