METHODOLOGICAL PROCESS OF THE BILINGUAL INTERCULTURAL EDUCATIONAL MODEL IN ECUADOR, CONSTRUCTION OF A DIALOGUE OF KNOWLEDGE, INTERCULTURALITY AND DIVERSITY

Resumo: | Intercultural bilingual education in Ecuador pretends to promote a dialogue of knowledge by applying a model that considers an individual as the curricular bases, the family, the community, the pedagogical, the territorial, the philosophical, and the anthropological model. The importance of the investigation sets on examining its concretion in the teaching-learning process in bilingual contexts and the principles that sustain it. In this way, the objective of this paper was to learn about the application of the stages of the methodological process of the Intercultural Bilingual Educational Model, and the contributions to construct interculturality, diversity, and dialogue of knowledge. This research was done under a qualitative approach with an ethnographic view, and it was supported by techniques such as observation, semi-structured interviews, and social mapping. The participants considered were Intercultural Bilingual teachers. The activities performed through intercultural learning environments and the construction of students’ knowledge based on local knowledge or ancestral wisdom in a contextualized way, to generate learning processes with cultural linguistic, territorial, and cognitive belonging, is highlighted. Besides, reference is made to the correct management of the principles, curricular bases, and strategies of the Intercultural Bilingual Educational Model, with the aim of contributing to the accomplishment of the statal policy on interculturality. |

La importancia de la investigación radica en examinar su concreción en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en contextos bilingües y los principios que la sustentan. En este sentido, el objetivo fue conocer la aplicación de las fases del proceso metodológico del Modelo de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, y los aportes para la construcción de la interculturalidad, la diversidad y el diálogo de saberes. Se realizó bajo un enfoque cualitativo con una mirada etnográfica, y se apoyó en técnicas como la observación, entrevistas semiestructuradas y cartografía social participativa. Los participantes fueron docentes interculturales bilingües en ejercicio. Se destaca el trabajo con ambientes de aprendizaje interculturales y la construcción del conocimiento de los estudiantes a partir de saberes locales o sabidurías ancestrales de manera contextualizada, para generar procesos de aprendizaje con pertinencia cultural, lingüística, territorial y cognitiva. Además, se hace alusión al manejo correcto de los principios, bases curriculares y estrategias del Modelo de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, con el fin de contribuir al cumplimiento de la política estatal en materia de interculturalidad.A Educação Intercultural Bilíngue no Equador busca promover o diálogo do conhecimento através da aplicação de um modelo que toma como base curricular a pessoa, a família, a comunidade, o pedagógico, o territorial, o filosófico e o antropológico. A importância da pesquisa reside em examinar sua concretização no processo de ensino-aprendizagem em contextos bilíngues e os princípios que a sustentam. Nesse sentido, objetivou-se conhecer a aplicação das fases do processo metodológico do Modelo de Educação Intercultural Bilíngue, e as contribuições para a construção da interculturalidade, diversidade e diálogo de saberes. Foi realizada sob uma abordagem qualitativa com perspectiva etnográfica, e foi apoiada por técnicas como observação, entrevistas semi-estruturadas e mapeamento social participativo. Os participantes eram professores interculturais bilíngues em atividade. Destaca-se o trabalho com ambientes interculturais de aprendizagem e a construção do conhecimento dos alunos a partir dos saberes locais ou ancestrais de forma contextualizada, para gerar processos de aprendizagem com relevância cultural, linguística, territorial e cognitiva.
