Resumo: | This article aims to problematize the relationship between the incentive to promote technological education practices and the effective implementation of these practices. To this end, we used Tecnoteca's initiative at Instituto Federal Fluminense as a case study. [...] It is worth the role of public policies for national development in relation to education initiatives. [...] As a method of data collection, an interview was given by the creator of the project and, based on these data, we performed an interpretation of these statements and their relations with the theorists who supported this article from the data analysis technique conceptualized as Discursive Textual Analysis. In this article, we brought the IFF's Tecnoteca project as a case study and found the need for school management to carry out technological projects, due to the resistance to new teaching methodologies, corroborating the importance of continuing teacher education. Para tanto, utilizou-se como estudo de caso a criação da Tecnoteca no Instituto Federal Fluminense (IFF), uma sala interativa com ambiente futurístico com recursos didáticos diferenciados. [...]. Como método de coleta de dados, recorreu-se a uma entrevista concedida pela idealizadora do projeto e, a partir desses dados; realizou-se uma interpretação dessas falas e suas relações com os teóricos que embasaram este artigo a partir da técnica de análise de dados conceituada como Análise Textual Discursiva. A partir desse estudo de caso, constatou-se a necessidade de engajamento da gestão escolar para realização de projetos tecnológicos, em virtude das resistências às novas metodologias de ensino, corroborando a importância da formação continuada de professores.
