MATERNAL AND NEWBORN OUTCOMES IN PLANNED HOMEBIRTH:: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Resumo: Objective: identify, in the scientific literature, maternal and neonatal outcomes in planned home births. Method: integrative review carried out in March and April 2021 in the MEDLINE database, LILACS SCIELO considering the period from 2015 to 2021. We found 263 articles, six of which met the inclusion criteria, which were analyzed by thematic analysis. Results: discussed in four categories that presented the outcomes: Transfer to the hospital; Obstetric interventions and complications; Neonatal hospitalization; Humanized childbirth. The study allowed to find that women who opted for the PHB sought humanized care that allowed protagonism and and respect for the physiology of childbirth. Conclusion: In view, previous experiences of parturition and the current medicalized and interventional obstetric model, it was found that the PHB in women at habitual risk presented positive maternal and neonatal results.

Se encontraron 263 artículos, de los cuales seis cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, los cuales fueron analizados por análisis temático. Resultados: fueron discutidos en cuatro categorías que presentaron los desenlaces: Traslado al hospital; Intervenciones obstétricas y complicaciones; hospitalización neonatal; Nacimiento humanizado. El estudio permitió verificar que las mujeres que optaron por el parto domiciliario planificado buscaban una atención humanizada que permitiera el protagonismo y el respeto a la fisiología del parto. Conclusión: frente a experiencias previas de parto y al actual modelo obstétrico medicalizado e intervencionista, se constató que el parto domiciliario planificado en mujeres de riesgo habitual presentó resultados maternos y neonatales positivos.Objetivo: identificar, na literatura científica os desfechos maternos e neonatais no parto domiciliar planejado. Metodologia: Revisão integrativa realizada em março e abril de 2021 na base de dados MEDLINE, LILACS SCIELO, considerando o período de 2015 a 2021. Foram encontrados 263 artigos dos quais, seis atenderam aos critérios de inclusão, sendo esses analisados por análise temática. Resultados: foram discutidos em quatro categorias que apresentaram os desfechos: Transferência ao hospital; Intervenções obstétricas e intercorrências; Internação neonatal; Parto humanizado. O estudo oportunizou constatar que mulheres que optaram pelo parto domiciliar planejado buscavam pelo cuidado humanizado que permitisse o protagonismo e o respeito à fisiologia do parto.
