Resumo: Objective: To identify the implications of racial inequalities in the health treatments of the black population during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This is an integrative literature review, with consultation to databases and/or portals: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Nursing Database (BDENF), CINAHL (EBSCO), National Library of Medicine (PUBMED) and Sciverse Scopus, through CAPES Periodicals Portal. Results: 17 articles made up this review, and based on that analysis, it was identified as an implication of racial inequalities in health treatments for the black population, less access to information about the disease and prevention behaviors, greater probability of acquiring COVID-19 and less likely to receive early testing/diagnosis, higher rates of hospitalization and hospital mortality, disproportionate care, greater risk of intensive therapy need and invasive ventilation, less access to the health system, higher rates in the Sequential Assessment of Insufficiency of organs. Conclusion: Through data analysis, it was possible to identify that the black population affected by COVID-19 received disproportionate care during the pandemic period. The need to consider ethnic-racial factors in studies on COVID-19 is evident.
