Resumo: Objective: to identify the impact of Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) on the oral health of children from the perspective of parental care. Method: this is an integrative review of the literature conducted in the databases Pubmed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science and Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, held in September 2021. "Child", "COVID-19" and "oral health", which are associated with the boolean operator "AND", were used. The following guiding question was used: "What is the impact of Coronavirus Disease 19 (COVID-19) on the oral health of children from the perspective of parental care?" constructed from the PICO strategy. Results: the sample was composed of eight articles, in English, most of which were indexed in Pubmed. Thus, the main impact of COVID-19 on the parents' perspective regarding the oral health of children was the lag regarding dental care, related mainly to the risk of infection perceived by parents and dental pain in children, as well as negative changes in eating habits and oral hygiene. Conclusions: the COVID-19 pandemic showed important impacts on the oral health of children, implications regarding dental care, related mainly perception risk of infection by parents, dental pain, as well as negative repercussions on eating habits and oral hygiene. Thus, it is important to highlight and discuss the profile of these impacts on child health, in order to improve the management of potential diseases during the pandemic.
