CHALLENGES AND POTENTIALITIES OF NURSING CARE TO THE MOTHER-CHILD BINOMIAL IN AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

Resumo: | Introduction: Neurodevelopmental disorders are among the conditions that most affect children aged between two and nine years. Among these disorders, the most prevalent are Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The latter is characterized by affecting more than 67 million individuals around the world, which highlights the importance of carrying out research on this topic. Objective: to analyze the potential and challenges of nursing care in Autism Spectrum Disorder, covering the mother-child binomial. Method: integrative review carried out in six stages from October to November 2022 guided by the PRISMA guide. The studies were surveyed using the MEDLINE, SciELO, LILACS and BDENF databases. Results: nine studies were selected and enabled the identification of two thematic axes, which were: nursing care and potential for assisting children with autism spectrum disorder; and nursing care and challenges in assisting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Final considerations: the nurse's role presents potential for care in the context of Autism Spectrum Disorder, covering assistance to the patient and their family, through guidance and collaborative activities, with a focus on ensuring the promotion of improvements in the development and quality of life of both |

Entre estos trastornos, los más prevalentes son el Trastorno por Déficit de Atención con Hiperactividad y el Trastorno del Espectro Autista. Este último se caracteriza por afectar a más de 67 millones de individuos en todo el mundo, lo que resalta la importancia de realizar investigaciones sobre este tema. Objetivo: analizar las potencialidades y desafíos de la atención de enfermería en el Trastorno del Espectro Autista, abarcando el binomio madre-hijo. Método: revisión integradora realizada en seis etapas de octubre a noviembre de 2022 guiada por la guía PRISMA. Los estudios fueron investigados utilizando las bases de datos MEDLINE, SciELO, LILACS y BDENF. Resultados: fueron seleccionados nueve estudios que permitieron identificar dos ejes temáticos, que fueron: cuidados de enfermería y potencialidades de asistencia a niños con trastorno del espectro autista; y cuidados de enfermería y desafíos en la asistencia a niños con trastorno del espectro autista. Consideraciones finales: el rol del enfermero presenta potencialidades para el cuidado en el contexto del Trastorno del Espectro Autista, abarcando la asistencia al paciente y su familia, a través de orientación y actividades colaborativas, con foco en asegurar la promoción de mejoras en el desarrollo y calidad de vida de ambos.Introdução: Os transtornos do neurodesenvolvimento estão entre as condições que mais afetam as crianças com faixa etária entre dois a nove anos. Entre esses transtornos, destacam-se como os mais prevalentes o Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade e o Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo. Este último é caracterizado por afetar mais de 67 milhões de indivíduos em todo o mundo, o que destaca a importância de realizar pesquisas envolvendo a temática. Objetivo: analisar as potencialidades e os desafios dos cuidados de enfermagem no Transtorno do Espectro Autista, abrangendo o binômio mãe-filho. Método: revisão integrativa realizada em seis etapas nos meses de outubro a novembro de 2022 orientado pelo guia PRISMA. A amostragem deu-se através das bases de dados MEDLINE, SciELO, LILACS e BDENF.
