Resumo: Objective: to identify in the scientific evidence the risk factors and main devices that involve the occurrence of pressure injuries in neonates in intensive care. Method: This is an integrative literature review, based on the analysis of scientific nursing publications indexed in the databases: MEDLINE via PubMed, CINAHL, BDEnf, LILACS and Web of Science. Results: 16 studies were included, evidencing prematurity, length of stay and prolonged use of medical devices as the main risk factors related to injury from medical devices. Among the medical devices responsible for the occurrence of injuries were the respiratory devices, with a focus on the nasal prongs. Conclusion: The risk factors identified reflect the reality of neonatal care and should be considered for the development of preventive measures and the consequent reduction of injuries.

SOBENFeE2021-06-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/plainhttps://revistaenfermagematual.com/index.php/revista/article/view/109810.31011/reaid-2021-v.95-n.34-art.1098Journal Enfermagem Atual In Derme; Vol. 95 No. 34 (2021): Abr.
