Resumo: | Based on an analysis of texts, interviews and films by filmmakers Arthur Omar and Trinh T. Minh-ha, we will seek to understand the convergences and divergences between their ways of thinking about the filmic representation of the “real”, especially in their ways of questioning the hegemonic classical documentary language. The works of Didi-Huberman (2014, 2015) and Shohat and Stam (2006) will help us contextualize the relationships between colonialism, imperialism and Eurocentrism in cinema, establishing the issues that Omar and Minh-ha will focus on in their works. |

Minh-ha, buscaremos comprender las convergencias y divergencias entre sus formas de pensar sobre la representación fílmica de lo "real", especialmente en sus modos de cuestionar el lenguaje documental clásico hegemónico. Los trabajos de Didi-Huberman (2014, 2015) y Shohat y Stam (2006) nos ayudarán a contextualizar las relaciones entre colonialismo, imperialismo y eurocentrismo en el cine, estableciendo las cuestiones en las que Omar y Minh-ha se centrarán en sus obras.A partir de uma análise de textos, entrevistas e filmes dos cineastas Arthur Omar e Trinh T. Minh-ha, buscaremos compreender as convergências e divergências entre seus modos de pensar a representação fílmica do “real”, em especial em seus modos de questionamento da linguagem documental clássica hegemônica.
