A proposta é de analisar a importância do meio ambiente e da preservação da fauna para manutenção do equilíbrio do ecossistema. A necessidade da adoção da ética ambiental para que a sociedade não continue a praticar crueldades contra animais. Sob o foco ainda, os direitos que os animais possuem e a defesa que a Constituição Federal traz aos animais. Abordará também a questão da vivissecção, surgimento e os aspectos penais da lei que protege a vida animal, os métodos alternativos e o direito de escusa de consciência.This paper will present the issue of animal testing with a focus on environmental crimes law nº 9.605/98. The proposal is to analyze the importance of environment and wildlife conservation to maintain the balance of ecosystem. The need for the adoption of environmental ethics that society does not continue to practice cruelty against animals. Under the focus yet, that animals have rights and protection that the Constitution gives to the animals.
